Our Latest Projects!

Well, we are back in Rexburg! This summer we were lucky enough to be able to stay with Kennedy's Grandparents. Since we weren't living in our house I wasn't able to do any projects so all summer I stored away ideas in my brain... once we got to Rexburg it was time to unleash the projects! Kennedy was kind enough to help me {a lot}, especially with the painting... okay he did all of the painting. He's the best!

So we painted our kitchen table and chairs and I really like how they turned out, I wish the red was a little different so it might get tweaked one day but I don't think Kennedy is to eager to do that again.

We also painted Kennedys old dresser, last Winter we had it away in storage but we left all of our storage in our apartment over the summer while we were in Alberta. I realized that this dresser had some serious potential {plus we had no room in our storage} and this is now the home for all my craft supplies!! Love.

These are a few of my Wall Decor projects. Lyrics was inspired by a picture I found on Pinterest and I really liked it so Kennedy and I spent an afternoon thinking up song lyrics we liked, we thought of lots but these were the four that made the cut. They come from {left to right} Moves Like Jagger - Adam Levine & Christina Aguilera, Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO, Forever - Drake and We R Who We R - Ke$ha.

Our front door arrangement it a conglomerate of all sorts of different things but all three of the black frames Kennedy painted for me. I fell in love with the skinny one as soon as I saw it, I'm not sure if it will stay there but thats where it is for now :)

My Seasonal frames are the ones I always do, I still have Summer up because it still feels like Summer and I have to hold on to that season for as long as I can! But I already bought my Halloween stuff and I keeping my eyes out for cute Fall things to fill the frames with!

Okay this too was also inspired by a pinterest find, they were originally used at someones wedding but I thought they were to stinkin adorable to pass up! All I did was take a canvas and {Kennedy} painted it black then I used modge podge to glue the paper on. I just made the He/She on word. I also painted the & sign black because it was originally white. Anyways I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. If you look close in real life you can see the ripples {smoothing out paper on canvas is hard!}... at one point I almost cried because I thought it was ruined! But we mostly fixed it. Anyways, there is beauty in imperfections :)

Well that is the newest with us! School is great and we are having a blast!

Waterton Trip 2011

We took our last family day trip before Ty leaves for his mission! He leaves July 1 and enters the MTC on July 6th! It`s coming quickly but we are so excited for him. We had a beautiful day in Waterton, which was lucky because there were chances of rain all day!

So we got  to see two bears and they were in the same place about an hour apart from each other!

We hiked to Blackiston Falls and it was beautiful! There was so much water coming over the falls, it was so loud!
This is on the trail.. we`re pretty cute.

Anyways, we had an amazing time in Waterton. We decided we need to get up there a little more often, it really isn`t that far and it is so refreshing to be in the mountain air and enjoy nature! Hope you get out there or somewhere similar this summer!

Happy Fathers Day!

We both feel incredibly lucky to have grown up with honest, hard-working, amazing men for our Fathers. We have both learned a lot from them and love them very much! We hope you all enjoyed the day!

Ketchup.

Hello everyone! Well apparently we have had a fun summer so far as our blog has been seriously neglected! I thought I would catch you all up. In April we got home just in time to celebrate Becca's 13th Birthday! We got her 13 gifts and wrapped them each individually, she had fun opening all of them! During April I had three weeks before I started working and Kennedy had already started... I'm not quite sure what I did to tell you the truth but I managed to fill my time some how. I was able to attend both my counsin Natalie's and Paige's College grads. It was great to be able to celebrate that with them.

May was a very fun month. I started work and started on my tan... unfortunately the rain has put that on pause as of late. The same crew I worked with last summer all returned so we are having a blast working together. The best thing about being in SoAb for the summer is being close to our families. We have been spoiled silly with Family Time and we are loving it since we don't see family very much when we are in Idaho!

Speaking of Idaho, because Kennedy is such an amazing husband he let me go down to Rexburg for the May long weekend to play with my friends. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! It was also a lot of fun to come back home to him afterwards! While I was gone Kennedy and his family celebrated Paiges birthday. The next weekend we all traveled down to Great Falls to do some Birthday shopping with her. We had {too much} fun taking advantage of the sales there!

At the end of May we celebrated Kennedys younger cousin Jordi's High school graduation which was very exciting and she looked beautiful. Also the ceremony was short and sweet.

June has already begun and we just finished planning our July vacation for our anniversary so we are very excited about that. We will certainly try to post a little more this month but still have lots of fun!

Conference Highlights

So it has been a month since our last post! That is terribly embarrassing. To catch you up; we have moved to Barnwell for the summer and we are working our little hearts out, we both finished our winter semester with amazing GPA's, I am getting a tan and Kennedy is still white :) Basically life is good.

We went to General Conference in April and Tyler came along for the weekend and it was really fun to spend the weekend together. We even got into the Conference Center for all the sessions {including Priesthood session} after a surprise flat tire, random ninja turtles and some great deals we came home tired and spiritually filled... to find another surprise flat tire the next day. But all-in-all it was a lot of fun and here are a few of our pictures!

Heres a few pictures of us on Temple Square between sessions. It was a beautiful weekend!

Random Ninja Turtle Girls haha.

I should've posted earlier about Conference and I could have told you about my favorite talks but my Conference notebook was left safely tucked away in Rexburg for the summer and I have a bad memory but I know it was an amazing weekend, it always is!

C-EH N-EH D-EH

Hey! We are back in Canada for the summer folks! For all of you who don't know we are residing in Barnwell, Alberta with Kennedy's wonderful Grandparents for the summer. They were kind enough to take us in and we greatly appreciate it!

Kennedy is returning to his job painting this week in Lethbridge and I will be starting my previous summer job for the Town of Taber at the beginning of May. Yes... I will have some time off. Last year I basically planned my entire wedding in my three weeks off but this summer I don't have a wedding to plan! However, my lovely friend Brittany and I are planning a fabulous baby shower for a friend. It is Cat in the Hat themed and it will be. Amazing.

Also, I plan on reconstructing a dress. I have been noticing on some of the Fashion Blogs I follow that others have done this. Here's one example. Anyways now you are officially filled in! More to come :)

I Turned 22!

In our house Birthday are a BIG deal and my birthday was no exception! Kennedy made my day perfect! The day started out with breakfast in bed with french toast and homemade peach syrup... it was SO good! I got to have lunch with Brittany... for four hours and it was delightful. While I was having the longest lunch in history Kennedy cleaned our house! {he's so great, right?}

For dinner Kennedy took me out to eat... and get this.... I got french toast {haha} but it was so good and I love french toast! Afterwards we went to Savior of the World, a production that was performed at BYU-I in the new BYU-I Center... this is a picture of it below, it seats 16,000 people. It's pretty big!

This year for my "cake" I for my favorite Coldstone treat... it was the best idea ever :) Then we opened presents... I got some pretty awesome cards and I should have taken pictures of them because they were hilarious... so thank you all card givers {Paige}. I got some pretty amazing gifts though; new black shoes {so cute!}, a pretty plaque for our living room, GOSSIP GIRL SEASON 3, Easy A, a Camelback water bottle {um how am I 22 and just experiencing this?}, lotion, the new book by Jeffrey R. Holland and a yummy cheque from my parents!

THEN on Sunday Kennedy put together a surprise birthday party for me at our house! We went out to feed the ducks which was kind of scary {there were 30 on either side of our car!} we decided to stay in the car as we were greatly outnumbered. Then we went for a little drive and my brother Ty called so I was visiting with him. When I got home I was still on the phone so I Ty got cut short! But it was a wonderful surprise and a lot of fun! Anyways, it was a great birthday and thanks to all of you that made it great!

Trading Places

So my picture is actually a week or so old but I lost it on our camera... but it was found today while we were retrieving this treasure photo of Kennedy... he just wanted to get comfortable but it was such a struggle :)

Okay so for Day 6 of our Blogging Challenge we were asked who we would trade places with for a day... obviously I picked Lebron... just kidding. Kennedy picked Lebron James and he said he would dunk all day long and send Kennedy Berezay a big fat cheque in the mail (he got that idea from me). Okay I would be Jennifer Aniston because she just really intrigues me... what the heck is going on with Brad/Angelina OR what happened??? Also I would spend the morning with her personal trainer (she has to have one right?) and I would get all his tips... THEN I would go shopping ALL afternoon in clothes my size and have them shipped to my house in Idaho.. c/o Jennifer :) Oh and I would spend the evening in a spa getting pampered like a crazy person.

Banff - Our Holiday Spot.

So Day 5 of our Thirty Day Challenge is Your Favorite Memory. We both picked out our Honeymoon to Banff. Kennedy said on our way to Banff was when it really hit him that we were married and he was so happy. Cute right :) We were in Banff on a Sunday so for the afternoon we went to the Banff Gardens and lounged on the grounds and just visited. It is my favorite memory of that trip and I hold it near to my heart :)

Well tonight we made cookies! Vanishing Chocolate Chip Cookies and they were so yum! Also we made 45 sooo if you are in Rexburg there is a cookie with your name on it at our house ;) Note: the adorable apron I'm sporting. Kennedy's mom made it for me for Christmas! Also it is reversible and the other side is way cute too. You should notice Kennedy's shirt as well, I think he looks so good in yellow. Anyways... :)

Well not much else to say... FOUR days til my birthday, ELEVEN days to Conference AND EIGHTEEN days until the semesters done... Well, big gulps eh... well... see you later!

A Brush with the Law. {Day Four}

This weekend was BYU-I`s Slam Dunk Competition and it was so awesome! I`m not even sure where to begin! There was the Little Man competition and the defending champion was from ARIMO, Idaho! My great-grandparents lived there and it has a population of like 200 or something so I was super excited! He came in second but he should`ve won! He jumped over a girl standing and the table in front of her, it was VERY impressive. The guy that won was pretty good, he jumped over a kiddy car... and this wasn`t your average Jeep it was a Cadillac Escalade. The guy sitting in the Escalade through him the ball and he dunked it after jumping over him. It was a tribute to Blake Griffins dunk in the NBA Comp.

This is the guy jumping over the girl and the table.

Okay, now one of the performances of the night was the Idaho Jump Ropers (probably not the real name), these guys are national champs and they do incredible things! I have seen them perform a few times while at BYU-I and I am never disappointed.

This video is the best so if you only watch one, check this one out!

This one is also pretty awesome.

Okay I would skip to about 30 seconds in.. and at least watch the guy at the end!

Saturday we experienced Sammy`s for the first time. One of the owners is in Kennedy`s english class and gave him coupons for half off a Pie Milk Shake. We both got Banana Cream Pie... Oh My Gosh... THEY WERE AMAZING! I wanted to eat a room full instead of my little cup full. Afterwards we decided to go on a drive so we got on some highway and just drove and we got to Ashton, Idaho... it`s nice there. Found out I ate at a little diner there once on the way to Mesa Falls! We decided to turn around and head back to Rexburg... Kennedy was speeding and we got pulled over! Luckily the officer was very nice and only stopped us for four minutes and he only gave Kennedy a warning... this happened last April too on our way back from Conference. Kennedy has a lucky track record with Idaho Officers. It must be his face.

Well after our drive we went to Extravadance. This is a dance recital that the University puts on every semester and it was incredible! They did an amazing hip hop dance that made me want to cry it was so good, they did a few funny pieces, some beautiful numbers and just plain amazing numbers. We were both blown away and very grateful that we can be uplifted by others talents!

All in all it was a great weekend. Hope yours was too!

Day Three

A Picture of Your Favorite Shows Cast:

Well Kennedys favorite show is The Office. It should be noted that I too love The Office. We don`t know what`s going to happen when Steve Carrel leaves but the show does have amazing writers so I have faith that it might just be okay but it really won`t be the same with out him.

My favorite show is Gossip Girl!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show. It`s on on Mondays and I am not kidding... I wait for it all week! I would feel really lame saying it`s the highlight of my week so I won`t say that but it`s in my top ten for sure.

This evening, Kennedy and I are going to the Slam Dunk competition on campus and tomorrow we are going to Extravadance, on campus. We haven`t been to any on campus activities this semester so it`s like we are making up for lost time this weekend.

Today I had lunch with Brittany and Kennedy joined us for about an hour and it was so much fun! I am so glad that Kennedy is a cool husband, he is just way awesome. And you know... I am quite sure he is so glad that I am a cool wife... haha. Anyways have a great weekend everyone!

Day Two

For our Thirty Day Challenge today is: A Picture of You & the Person You Have Been Close With the Longest.

Of course we aren`t including our families in this becaues obviously we have known them the longest! Kennedy chose Ben... they have been best friends since grade ten when Kennedy moved to Myers. I chose Erin... and I picked this picture because we like to be silly together. We have been friends since nursery! She has been there with me through everything and I am super lucky to have her!

Well today we went to our first dance lab for our dance class... we were supposed to go to two but today was the last... our bad. It`s okay though, we have plans for extra credit already in place and we will make up for the loss. It`s just that the Dance labs were always on Thursdays and I don`t know if you know this but... Thursdays are our favorite evenings because Big Bang Theory is on and then The Office is on and then Greys  Anatomy is on... plus it is our longest day and we are super excited to be home.

Anyways... it was beautiful today! I hope where ever you were today it was beautiful too!

Cinco De Marzo Dos Mil Once

Now you know how to say today's date in Spanish... and so do I! Kennedy knows Spanish but I don't so sometimes I like to ask him how to say things just for fun. Cool right?

Well this weekend Kennedy's parents and younger sister Paige came to visit us and we have had so much fun! We gave them a tour of campus yesterday afternoon and then Kennedy played a basketball game. His team won. Again. His team (the hurricanes) are currently undefeated so no big deal.

Today we did some shopping in the morning in Idaho Falls. We stopped at the Idaho Falls temple and looked at the Reflections of Christ display; it was beautiful. If you ever have a chance to go see the display take advantage because it unlike anything else. There was such a special feeling as the sister missionaries walked us through the exhibit. Afterwards we all went swimming at their hotel and we had fun swimming/exercising in the pool. We raced up and down the pool... I did decent but I was the shortest and I couldn't quite reach at the deep end haha! After swimming we went to Coldstone and it was SO. GOOD. We rented the movie Takers and we are actually currently watching it, it's alright so far.

I put this picture up so you could see our faces :) We, once again, had a wonderful weekend. We are very lucky to belong to amazing families. Hope everyone else had a great weekend too!

I'm Batman... Shhh!

Woah?!?!? Crazy Right? I found this on Pinterest today and so I showed it to Kennedy... his mind was blown and he couldn't get over it so now you can have your mind blown as well.

Wednesdays are our favorite days BECAUSE it is so easy breezy (Covergirl). Question: Do you watch Big Bang Theory? That is what our title is referring too and possibly our most favorite episode of all of Big Bang Theory history. That quote comes into our lives frequently and wonderfully timed.

What else... This evening I am taking my wonderful friend Brittany jean shopping... I already bought shoes today so nothing for me on this trip... I must be held accountable for that statement. Kennedy is renting a scary/action movie while I am out since I don't like those kind of movies SO I get to spend time with Britt, she gets new jeans, Kennedy gets to watch a man movie... Win-Win-Win.

Oscar who?

Hello All! Well this weekend my parents and Becca came to visit and we had a blast! It was so great to spend some more time with them before they headed back home. While they were here I made my March Craft and it's becoming so addicting that it spread to Becca and she made her own themed craft for her room! It turned out darling, she's got great taste! Perhaps she was influenced by her older sister...

Also this Sunday was the Oscars... in this Berezay house it's kind of a big deal. So I decided to pick my top three dresses because as much as I love to celebrate excellence in film, I love to celebrate fashion even more! Okay so I just went and found all my favs and there are more than three so if you missed to Oscars consider yourself filled in on the best of the best!

From top left to right: Natalie Portman who looked amazing despite being like 6 months pregnant, I hope I look that good pregnant. She wore a Rodarte gown and it was incredible. The next was Mandy Moore. I fell in love with the rhinestones that looked painted on! I thought it was so cool. The dress actually goes all the way up to her neck so the rhinestones would have that neat effect. Okay at the bottom left is Cate Blanchett and although I would never wear this dress I thought it was so incredibly different and beautiful. One of the commentators on the red carpet commented on how she never dressed for the critics but she dressed for her love of fashion. I totally agree. And last Mila Kunis. She was one of the first on the red carpet and I instantly fell in love with dress. For most of the award season she has been in very dramatic dresses in deep and bright colors so this was totally unexpected! At the Golden Globes she had on this amazing deep green dress. She has looked great all season as has Natalie Portman. Anyways if you made it through that rambling; way-to-go.

Looong Weekend

This weekend we went to Utah and spent time with the Fam! We left Friday after classes and went straight to my little brothers dorm in Provo, he's attending BYU and he loooves it!

Obviously we couldn't stay with my brother so my parents, younger sister, Kennedy and I stayed at my Uncle Dave and Aunt Ninas home, we had so much fun! We played Just Dance 2, uhm so fun! Basically we are meant to be Rock stars. Not even kidding... okay maybe a little. Kennedy and I were also highly entertained by my Aunts youngest, Trevor. He entertained us for a few hours one night through a variety of adventures; outer space, Castle Feenya, Fishing, Tickle fights and pillow fights. On Sunday night Trevor and my Dad "Big Trevor" played hide-and-go-seek and little Trevor had a blast calling someone else Trevor! He was so funny. He kept calling my dad "silly guy" and "big trevor", it was pretty cute. We slacked and didn't get a video of it! The last morning Trevor and Kennedy built the "Trevor Tower" and we took a picture before it was destroyed.

On Monday we spent some time at BYU's Museum of Art looking at the Carl Block display. It was beautiful and very humbling to see the amazing paintings of Christs life. If you have a chance to go you should take advantage of the amazing experience. My mom bought us a print of our favorite painting so we can hang it in our home! It's called the Garden of Gethsemane, for some reason we both fell in love with it instantly.

After some last minute shopping we went to the Monty L. Bean Museum!

I think Jaguars are VERY cool.

And Kennedy enjoyed the bears! There was one bear that was over 10 ft. tall! I forgot to get a picture of it but it was huge! Well we had a very fun weekend, we didn't take any pictures of use shopping but we did about 12 hours of shopping throughout the weekend! I know! We are crazy! Anyways hope everyone else had a great long weekend!

We Heart Chinese Food

So this is me with some of best friends from BYUI. Once a month we get together for Chinese food at New Fongs! From left to right it's Me, Kendra, Felicia, Brittany, and Michelle. Sadly Michelle is off track this semester so she was not at dinner but Sam was and we love her too but I didn't have a picture with her... which means I better get on that :) Anyways we had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed catching up with each other. Also we all order the same thing EVERY time. Kendra, Felicia, Sam and I always order Mandarin Chicken (which is incredible!) and Brittany always gets Spicy Honey Chicken. Perhaps we are predictable but we are consistently satisfied and that is what eating is all about anyways!

This is what Kennedy looked like when I left haha so I took a picture of his evening :) I did bring him Chinese food home though so don't feel to bad for him!

Idaho played a cruel trick on us this week, it was BEAUTIFUL yesterday and this morning and this evening it tried to snow... we are hoping for another beautiful day tomorrow so cross your fingers for us!

In our dance class we started learning the Waltz which makes me feel like Cinderella, it's so fun :) And we are also learning the Cha Cha which is equally fun! There are a lot of interesting characters in our dance class and we are usually entertained by their antics. Today I had an awkward encounter with a girl today, she told me to "Show my hubby what my hips can do".... who says that? Haha I didn't know what to say to that so I laughed. Also there is a boy who really, and I mean really likes to shake his hips. I wish I had a picture of him because he is just really entertaining.

Another exciting thing of our day... I found out that I do not need Fit For Life to fulfill any of my requirements so I dropped it! It was just not working out between us and it just wasn't meant to be. Anyways, I am relieved to not have that class anymore so now I have more time to dedicate to my other classes. Speaking of other classes, today I had my first client meeting for I-Comm which was cool.

Kennedy doesn't have anything new to announce but he is great. Just so you know :)

Canada is Foriegn

Well today we got all dressed up again for Devotional. Elder Charles A. Didier an emeritus member of the Seventy. His talk was Learning by Faith to become a Humble Seeker of Happiness. It was an enlightening talk, he was quite humorous too! Tuesdays are our busy day we had hot dogs for dinner which was kind of a treat!

We found out this morning that I got my job back at the Town of Taber for the summer for the Parks & Recreation department so we are happy to know that I will have a great job waiting for me!

Also on a side note I had a great lunch with Brittany and Lexie today!

Kennedy wasn't really ready for that second picture and I didn't know I was taking it but he looks cute, manly cute. So this evening it was our pleasure to get some special visitors! During Glee we heard some serious knocking on the door and our doorbell rang (which I didn't even know we had!). So we answered the door and there were two boys, around 12 years old. They were selling Foreign Stamps and Coins. They had a lovely collection of Canadian Stamps for $10.00 we decided to help them out so we asked them what their "cause" was. VERY enthusiastically they both shouted "PSP2!". Hahaha it was just to funny.

Take note of the frame... it has possibly seen better days haha.

It's A Wonderful Life.

Today we had Stake Conference and we had a new Stake President Called, it was such a good meeting. After Church... you all know tomorrow is Valentines Day! So in preparation we made special sugar cookies this afternoon! Here's some pics of us with our beautiful cookies.

Heres Kennedy and his Cookies!

And My Cute Cookies!

This evening we were lucky enough to get together with some of my keeler cousins that are also at BYU-I right now. Devan Keeler had us all over to his house for a delicious sunday dinner. He made a scrumptious roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, homemade buns, and salads! We had a lot of fun visiting and getting to know each other better. It was a great Sunday, hope you all had a great one too!

We Forgot About Kennedy!

Well today was pretty relaxed for us. I work as a Games Manager for BYUI's Competitive Basketball League. Today I only had to work two games and one of them was Kennedy's! This is me in my cool work outfit.

haha so I'm a nerd... First picture I am being a happy Games Manager, second picture I am wearing my nerdy fanny pack that I never wear, and third I am discipling coaches and players that aren't listening (that rarely happens, they are pretty awesome though).

Well as I said Kennedy played today... he started today at the beginning of both halfs and played great! His team is still undefeated thanks to great coaches and a team that plays very well together. We were going to take a picture of Kennedy in his uniform but we forgot! (Hence the title). But don't worry... we will get a picture!

School is going great for us, mid-terms are starting this week so we might have to spend extra time studying this week!

We are looking forward to our trip to Utah next weekend with the Johnsons. We are going to spend some time shopping (of course), and we will be visiting some museum. Of course we will get to see family, the Ogles and the Durlands! It will definitely be a good weekend!

Date Night!

So I don't know if any of you are aware but "Just Go With It" came out to theaters today and I was SO excited! I have been waiting a month for this day so Kennedy took me to the movies to see it. I was so worried it wasn't going to live up to my expectations since I had built it up so much in my head BUT it exceeded all expectations and Kennedy loved it too.

Before going to the movie we killed time in Kohls. We had never been there before and as we are avid shoppers we felt that was inexcusable. So we checked it out... pretty decent. We wished we weren't poor students and then we would've bought wonderful things but we are going to Utah next weekend so we are saving our shopping money for a bigger market :)

After the movies we went to the Cocoa Bean... Best. Cup. Cakes. Ever. They are yum. We got "Better Than Whatever Cake" and a hazelnut cocoa. It was Kennedys first time there and even though he doesn't like icing he rather enjoyed our Cup Cake with butter cream icing. Also a side note... this picture looks like I just drew a line down the middle of the picture when in fact it is two separate pictures... crazy right? Anyways hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

It's Almost the WEEKEND!

Here's our library... I wish it really looked like that outside!

Hey everyone... well today I accidentally turned of my alarm this morning and slept an extra eight minutes which makes a HUGE difference when you use each and every precious minute in the morning! Luckily Kennedy hates to be late so he rushed me and we made it on time to classes at 7:45.

Today was very productive as we spent the day writing essays, completing projects, and taking a few exams. I spent the day in the library but I did take a break to have lunch with Kendra!

We also made dinner tonight and acted like grown-ups... even though we both wanted ice cream :) We're pigs like that haha.

Anyways it's a pretty low key day so that's all we have to say today :)

We are Dancin' Machines

Today was our Swing Dance exam... um we were amazing. Need I say more? That was our only class today so it was a pretty low key day. Kennedy's day started at 5:30 a.m. with basketball practice and they ran A LOT so he took a nice little nap this afternoon while I did some homework.

We topped off the evening with ice cream and catching up on our favorite t.v. shows: Big Bang Theory, The Office and Greys Anatomy.

Anyways uneventful day = small post :)

We (Heart) BYUI

So this week in our Bookstore it's I Love BYUI Week. They have special deals every day for the week and today it was these T-shirts for $5! I've always wanted one of these shirts but I've never been anywhere that I loved enough to wear the shirt proudly... but now I have! Kennedy also loves BYUI :)

Today's devotional was amazing, Kennedy and I got all spiffied up and looked awesome... if you want to see just how spiffy I got you can check out my style blog . Anyways, Elder Lynn A Micklesen, emeritus seventy, spoke today about Making Righteous Decisions by Following the Spirit through Obedience. I was going to leave a link to it but the BYUI site is down right now. But I have a few of his points... he said that becoming decisive is part of spiritually growing up and that the critical decisions are then that affect our standing before God--they are the non-negotiable commitmentsIt was so enlightening to hear someone tell us that making decisions on our own for ourselves is healthy for our spiritual growth, of course he said that it was never wrong to counsel with the Lord but that he expects us to come to him with a decision. The Lord doesn't want to make decisions for us.

Exciting News: Kennedy took his math test today and got 95% so we went out to dinner to celebrate his success and we got mozza sticks... our new found LOVE. Applebees sticks amazing!

After dinner we got to see our wonderful friend Felicia, she threw out her back just about two weeks ago so we brought her some cookies and said hello, because we love her. And last but not least we wrapped up the day watching Glee and NCIS Los Angeles while munching on my yummy oatmeal butterscotch chip cookies.

It was a beautiful Tuesday!

Lipstick, Tinfoil & Dance Class.

AH! So it is Monday and it wasn't even a big deal. We made it to our dance class on time despite my hair issues this morning; I wanted to try big, loose curls with my curling iron but it did nothing so I had to get out my straightner to curl my hair. Anyways I curled my hair in record speed (15 min).

A big accomplishment for us today: we bought tin foil. FINALLY. We have been out for almost three weeks and it has been quite the issue but we kept forgetting to buy it! Well, we bought it so no big deal.

Exciting news, I found out I have the long weekend off so Hello Utah :) It better be warm and wonderful because I am ready for something other than Idaho Weather.

Also I joined team lipstick today... kind of scary and new but i think it's going to be okay. Kennedy was a big help at Walmart helping me pick out colors... I'm not even joking.

Green & Yellow

What do you think of this picture? I love it... it might be my new header one of these days. Anyways, today was a great Sunday. We remembered it was Fast Sunday so chalk up a success for the Berezays this month! Of course today was the Superbowl... if you didn't see Kennedy's facebook status you missed out on my goof so let me fill you in...

We get home from church and we are hanging up our coats
K: "Sweet! We're home just in time for the pre-game show."
N: "Oh really? Who's playing in the pre-game?"
K: long pause...
N: Then I thought wait no one would be playing because that doesn't make any sense so I said... "Ooooh ha. ha." embarrassed face.

Anyways I totally pulled a stupid on that one. While Kennedy watched the second half of the game I made Oatmeal Butterscotch Chip Cookies (I thought we had chocolate chips but we didn't)... they turned out pretty good actually. I also played on picnik which is how I edited my picture above! But what turned out even better was the game! We were both cheering for the Packers and we were pumped that they won!

THEN it was time for Glee! We are total Gleeks and if you are missing out then you MUST go watch this number from tonights episode because we loved it... I was in the middle of picniking but I couldn't take my eyes off of the t.v. haha. Anyways that was the gyst of our sunday!
