Nikki was born March 25 1989 in The Dalles Oregon. She was born as Nicole and all of her family calls her that. She was a beautiful baby, practically perfect as her parents would say. She was the first child in her family so she got a lot of attention from her Mom & Dad! When she was one her family moved to Taber, Alberta, Canada to be closer to family.

As a toddler she had a very sweet disposition and was very excited when her little brother Tyler came along! When her Grandma Johnson came to pick her up because her parents were going to the hospital she talked the whole way there! In many home videos Nikki shared her confusion about technology at a young age, continuously asking "whats in the hole daddy?". She did not understand how a video camera worked.

In elementary school Nikki enjoyed spending time in Barnwell with her cousins. She thought it was very unfair that she couldn't live in Barnwell too! She was a pretty normal kid, loved playing with friends, spending time with her family, ballet classes, swimming lessons and she played the piano too!

In middle school Nikki discovered the joy of "hanging out" with friends, she was much to old to "play" with friends. She and her friends made up a club called "Funky Friends" and Nikki enjoyed planning parties and sleepovers for her and her friends.
When High School began she found out she loved watching cute boys play basketball so she spent a lot of time discussing various boys with her friends. For some reason she was drawn to Raymond boys... that was short lived though.
In Grade 11 Kennedy Berezay started hanging out with her group of friends, she hadn't given him much thought prior other than he seemed a little arrogant. After getting to know him she found he was actually a really great guy! One day Kennedy told her that he liked her, she thought about it for a few days and decided she liked him too! As any high school relationship they had their ups and downs but it didn't take long for them to become best friends. It was pretty clear to Nikki that what they had was special.
After Nikki graduated from high school she decided to attend BYU-I and live with her friend Brittany Johnson. Before Kennedy left on his mission he visited her a few times in Rexburg and it was a lot of fun for her to share that time with him. When Kennedy left on his mission Nikki didn't go to his farewell which was for the best because she tends to be emotional. The day Kennedy went into the MTC Nikki skipped all her classes and stayed home, she didn't cry but she just wanted to stay home so she did.
BYU-I was an amazing place and Nikki has had a lot of amazing experiences there. She volunteered for Student Ambassadors, she was an I-Team Leader, held various callings and had some amazing roommates! She met a lot of great people and learned a lot about herself.
When Kennedy came home from his mission Nikki had to decide if they had a future together. She prayed about it a lot and it seemed that a future with Kennedy looked bright. When Kennedy had been home for three weeks she went up to Taber to see him. She still remembers the first time she saw him, his smile took her breathe away and she knew they were going to get married. They spent the weekend together and decided to date!
When she came home for the summer they started planning the wedding. On April 18th Kennedy took Nikki down to the river and they were skipping rocks. It was a lot of fun. They sat down on a log and were visiting {it was a perfect day outside}. Kennedy suddenly said I have to go grab something... when he came back he had a story he had written and illustrated for her, he asked her to read it. She started reading it; it was their story. On the last page it told her to look up so she did and there Kennedy was on one knee and he asked her to marry him! Obviously she said Yes.
Nikki married Kennedy in the Cardston Alberta Temple on July 23 2010 and it was the best day of her life! It was absolutely perfect. She was so happy to marry her best friend. They spent the summer and fall in Lethbridge and Nikki took classes on-line to stay in school. They returned to BYU-I in 2011 and Nikki plans to graduate April 2012.
They are living happily ever after.
