Chinese Sabotage!

So every once in awhile I forget that eating is necessary for me to live... today was one of those days and I basically fell apart around 7:00 today. Luckily Kennedy rescued me by getting take out chinese for me BUT the restaurant tried to sabotage my happiness by giving me the wrong rice! Once again Kennedy came to the rescue and made me the right kind of rice, how lucky am I?

Despite my falling apart the day was still good. Becca (my younger sister) is re-doing her room and was picking out colors today so she asked me for some ideas. I went to Google and searched a bunch of rooms and then I was but by the bug :) Of course I cannot "re-do" my bedroom with paint and I love my bedding so... I have never been a big fan of my headboard (sorry M&D) so I decided why not recover it with fabric? So Kennedy and I made a wonderful (as always) trip to Porters... we mapped out a plan and we are still deciding if we really want to carry it out right now. Either way it will happen one of these days and I promise you it will be spectacular!

Kennedy played his second league game today and his team went into over-time but they won the game by 6. So far they are undefeated! Also I feel like Kennedy spent a good time watching Sports Center today so he has had a great day!

Colorful Stock-ings.

Well today was another freezing cold day here in Rexburg Idaho... I was in a skirt but I had on nylons... needless to say it was a great outfit. I was exposed to these amazing fashion blogs today and at 2:00 I came across this fabulous outfit with green tights and for the rest of the day I could ONLY think of colored tights. Because Kennedy is so wonderful he encouraged me to go to Idaho Falls and indulge my craving :) I am now the proud owner of Royal Blue, Fuschia, Ruby Red and Cream tights... also a really great skirt.

Kennedy decided to play the stock market today. He invested a mere $1,000,000.00. Ya know, pocket change for us Berezays. He invested in Apple, Verizon, GAP (which we love), Pepsi, Budweiser, Sirius Satellite Radio and CBS. Tomorrow morning when the stock market opens we will be billionaires and I will have all the tights in the world :)

Rexburg Residents

Welcome to 2011! One of my new years resolutions is to get back into blogging... Why is it so hard? To catch up... New Years eve we moved into Rexburg. Yes we started the year with a bang. Kennedys parents helped us with the move and we totally appreciated it! We love our new apartment, it's very cute. School is great, we both are keeping busy with homework and basketball. Kennedy is playing in the schools competitive basketball league. Thus far his team is undefeated so "Go Hurricanes!" I am working for the league again as a Games Management... good thing we love basketball. Well thats all for now!

Scattered Thoughts of Identity

So this isn't going to be totally organized. I was visiting with a friend today about a recently engaged couple. One of the partners didn't know some pretty important things about the other one... one of those things that could be a "breaker". So I thought how do you know that you really know someone. How do you know everything isn't a charade? And on that note, how do you really get to know yourself? And if you don't know yourself is it possible others to know you better than you know yourself?

I personally believe in seeing the best in people. Life without Hope would be dreadful. I always hope that I can find the best in people and that those qualities represent them the best. But everyone has their secrets and some peoples are worse than others. So I guess what I am saying is that I try to find and know the best part of people and I just hope that that represents them the best.

I think that it is possible for others to sometimes know us better than we know ourselves. Have you ever had someone point out one of your tendencies and you had no idea it existed? Then, after they told you, you noticed it every time you did it, and it was a lot? I hate when that happens. Getting to know ourselves is one of the trickiest projects to tackle in our lives because it's never ending. We are constantly changing and evolving so there is always something new to discover about ourselves.

So I guess to answer all my questions is that through time and careful thought you can come to know someone very well and trust them. Also it is healthy to spend time getting to ourselves better because after all we should know who is representing us right?

My thoughts on MTV reality show "characters"

The world of MTV reality is far from reality... at least we can only hope. I have been catching up on a few shows that were past addictions and I have come to realize that there are some straight up crazy people on mtv reality shows.

One thing I noticed was every time that there are conflicts between people they ALWAYS meet at a restaurant to "discuss" their issues. What actually happens? They call each other choice words, yell a little and one usually ends up storming out of the restaurant... which means neither of them eat. At the end of the day they are both cranky and hungry. Not a good combination.

The word "crazy" seems to be a commonly used to explain characters (so to speak) and they are all right! Which means, they are all crazy :) But we all have a little "crazy" in us don't we?

Well here is my first post... I dedicate it to Felicia Smithee, a wonderful girl. In honor of Felicia here are a few of my hates :)

1. When the toilet paper roll is backwards, but only in my own home. Everyone else is totally entitled to put it which ever direction they want!
2. Slooooooow drivers, for example, 30 km/h in a 50 zone!? Get serious.
3. Onions... I can't stand them.
4. Sore throats... I don't think anyone likes those though, do they?
5. Riding my bike against the wind!
