    1. Well what we have done is an hour before he goes to bed we feed him rice cereal, then we give him a bath. Then I nurse him and rock him to sleep. Then we put him down and now we don't pick him back up if he wakes up. We go back in and give him his soother if he wakes up. The first few nights he cried for about 40 minutes and we went in every 5 minutes for the first bit and then ten minutes. But now he just stays asleep, if he does wake up he falls right back asleep after we give him his soother. Before we did sleep training it would usually take 90 minutes of rocking him and putting him down over and over. I really though the whole experience would be really traumatic but it has actually been a pretty positive experience and Bruce has caught on much faster than I thought he would. We waited until he could keep his soother in himself to sleep train though. But, every kid and parents are different so this is just what has worked for us! I hope that's helpful!

    2. We've been trying to pick him up, calm him down, then put him back in his crib. But he just freaks out when we put him in the crib. Now we're starting over (ug) and we're trying to let him cry it out in his crib a little bit so he learns that he's just fine where he is.

    3. Yah it's rough. We waited until Bruce could hold his soother in himself. If he doesn't have his soother he just looses it and is inconsolable. So for him, I knew it would be pointless to try and sleep train him before he could hold it in himself. But as soon as he could keep his soother in on his own we started! It's so nice once they get it! Totally worth it! Good luck!
